The men’s baseball schedule is finally out.  So dust off your baseball mitts and plan on coming out for an Opening day on the 16th at Independence High School.

Last night the Ladies opened up their season in Monroe against the Union County team.  It was a split doubleheader.  We won the first game by a bunch and lost a heartbreaker in the 2nd game in the last inning, 2 to 1.  Now it’s on to Knappolis for another doubleheader tomorrow night.

Remember the Softball is opening up at home this coming Tuesday evening at the Mint Hill Athletic fields.  Because of the tremendous support from the town and merchants, there will be NO CHARGE TO GET IN!!!!!!! For a fun evening bring out family and friends, stop at the snack bar and cheer on Mint Hill’s best fastpitch softball players……..
