MINT HILL, NC – Anyone who has lived in Mint Hill can agree with this simple truth: the residents here are a uniquely close-knit community. Local events are well-attended. People often run into someone they know every time they are out shopping. Businesses thrive and are supported. Because of these reasons, Timothy Brown and his team at City Electric decided to open up their location just a few minutes away in Midland, NC.
“Mint Hill is rapidly growing with the exact communities we want to service,” Brown explains. “The City Electric brand is family-owned and operated. To me this means that we put a high priority on dedication, quality, and service. These values fit well with the customer base we find in this area.”
City Electric is an electric wholesale business. They provide service and support for both individuals remodeling their homes and large construction companies tackling multiple jobs at a time. “We supply all electrical products you might need for a new construction, renovations, industrial repairs and utility products,” Branch Manager Tim Brown explains. “We sell Milwaukee Tools, Klein Tools, PVC, metal conduit, fittings, wires, panels, breakers, disconnects, lighting fixtures, LED shop lights and high bay fixtures – I could go on. Basically, whatever you need to make your work easier, we probably have it.” Brown smiles.
Even though City Electric has 537 branches across 30 states, Brown says it’s the experience in the field and the relationships built with customers or other businesses that are the heart of his branch. “I have seven years of experience in the electrical field. I’ve also been a member of the City Electric family for nineteen years,” Brown proudly states. “It is important to me to follow through with our promises and put our customers first.
“We don’t sell any products we wouldn’t use in our own homes for our own renovations or remodels,” Brown explains. “I love being able to apply my knowledge to listen to the customer, walk with them through the store, and help them get exactly what they need. In that way, a customer’s success becomes City Electric’s success, and we continue to expand the relationship.”
Timothy Brown and his team hope Mint Hill residents will stop by their store at 12410 Grey Commercial Drive in Midland and start the conversation. “I hope to build relationships with both individuals and other businesses so we can support and promote one another. City Electric can’t wait to be included in the close-knit communities of Mint Hill and beyond.”
