22 Days Until the Madness begins….

This year’s Mint Hill Madness fair pairs new offerings with a lot of fan favorites.  The 35th annual, family-friendly festival will be held Memorial Day Weekend (May 25-27, 2018) at the Mint Hill Veterans Memorial Park, 8850 Fairview Road in Mint Hill.

Madness has something for everyone in the family: delicious food; great music ranging from country to rock; business, non-profit and arts and craft vendors; a fantastic family carnival; the Battle of Mint Hill (a fitness competition); a Football Skills Challenge; an all-American parade; a classic car show and the largest fireworks display in the area.

Friday night features All-You-Can-Ride wristband night.  Parents can enjoy the band Too Much Sylvia as kids spend the night, hanging with friends and riding a variety of rides.

The Mint Hill Madness parade will take place on Saturday, May 26th.  This year promises to be loud and fun.  NOTE: The new route will start at Bain School and traveling south on Matthews-Mint Hill Road and ending at the Mint Hill Library.  Be sure to arrive early to secure your spot.  The parade starts at 9:00 AM.

Live entertainment continues to be a big part of the festival and headliners for this year include:  DJ T’Nice will provide entertainment over the course of the weekend, in addition to School of Rock Band, The Entertainers on Saturday. We are excited to welcome Captain Jim’s is Magic and Sky High Skyler on Sunday.

Saturday night’s fireworks promise to be the best ever.  Experience our spectacular, one-of-a-kind Fireworks Extravaganza.  We encourage people to arrive at least 1-2 hours in advance. The Fireworks Extravaganza will start at 9:00 PM.
