We arrived at our Resort and went straight to the check-in lobby, where we have whisked away from the check-in desk and straight to our private Concierge Lounge. There we were checked in by one of our dedicated concierge team members on an IPad. We were given a portfolio of literature and a complete explanation of how to access our many concierge services. then we were escorted to our Seaside Luxury Club Level Garden Cottage. Our Concierge took time to show us how everything worked, before leaving us with our complimentary bottle of chilled wine and our complimentary ensuite bar and refrigerator, stocked with beers and drinks. Our baggage arrived within 15 minutes.
Donning our swimsuits and beach covers, we set out to find a lounge chair at our nearby pool. Fresh beach towels were available at our pool and we had a Pizza and sandwich snack shop right on our pool patio. We ordered our Pizza and, of course, we met our favorite mixologist. By early evening, Barbara and I were ready to have a sit-down meal. Our concierge got us reservations at Vista Gourmet Sky Terrace. Our very first impression was the WOW factor of having dinner on a second-floor terrace with NOTHING but beach, moon, and allow the breeze to distract from our 4-course dinner. I chose scallops, and Barbara chose shrimp. Service was impeccable and the food was superb. Afterward, we chose to walk the beachfront area and enjoy the sounds of music from the Beach Club area. Around 9 pm, we boarded the transportation and headed for the “Speakeasy” bar. Located hillside, this intimate bar is hidden in the side of a hill, poolside, and approached by a single garden path. You have to know where it is, and you have to have the speakeasy “Password” of the day. We found great seats and enjoyed tonight’s live entertainment. Then it was bedtime as we enjoyed the comfort of our special poster bed and luxury mattress, decorated with flower petals and a chocolate kiss.
