The Town of Mint Hill will be hosting The Moving Wall, a traveling, half-size replica of the Washington D.C. memorial to the 2.7 million men and women who served in Vietnam. The Wall will be on display starting at 12 p.m. October 10 through 12 p.m. on October 14 at Mint Hill Veterans Memorial Park located at 8850 Fairview Rd, Mint Hill, North Carolina 28227.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! The Wall will be open round the clock for public viewing once it is on display.   People visit The Moving Wall for different, personal reasons.  Some want to talk, some want to be left alone, others are merely curious.  Many are looking for one or a few special names.  We are looking for volunteers.  We need strong, able bodied individuals to set-up and tear-down The Wall.  We need volunteers to help people find those names that are special to them on The Wall.  We need volunteers to escorting visitors to that one panel that contains the name they are looking for.  We need volunteers who are experienced counselors.  We need volunteers to assist with security and parking.
