Independence Patriots 


Bryson Jusko – The junior continues to lead the Patriots with a .407 batting average, he posts a .535 OBP, .980 OPS.  He has 22 hits, 2 doubles, 13 walks, 15 runs scored, and 5 RBI’s.

Raja Milton – The senior outfielder has a .345 batting average, 20 hits, 2 doubles, 14 base on balls, 12 RBI’s, 20 runs, along with an OBP .479, OPS .859 in his final season at Independence.

Noah Howie – The senior catcher and outfielder has been valuable and steady all season for the Patriots. Howie posts .333 batting average, OPB .476, OPS .889 while smacking 21 hits. He has 13 RBI’s, 26 runs scored, along with 14 base on balls. He has handled the ball more often than any player on the team behind the dish, his fielding percentage is a solid .932 for the season.


Mallory Shaver – The power hitting sophomore posts a .510 batting average, 25 hits, 17 RBI’s, 6 doubles, 3 triples, with an OBP .556, OPS 1.311 for the Lady Patriots.

Maya Douglas – Best athlete on the club, has a .500 batting average, 23 hits, 22 RBI’s, 11 extra base hits including 7 doubles, 1 triple and 3 home runs. Douglas posts a team leading OBP .582 and OPS 1.473 which are excellent numbers.

Jaylin Adkins – The junior solid performer posts a .450 batting average, has 18 hits, 4 RBI’s with 4 extra base hits, 3 doubles and 1 triple. Adkins carries an OBP .560, OPS 1.135. She has also made a major contribution on the pitching staff behind ace Kayla Douglas.


Annilese Shelley – The senior scoring leader and school all-time record holder continues to add to her record as she now has accumulated 107 goals scored in her high school career. This season alone in 16 games she has 37 goals, 7 assists for a total of 81 points.

Queens Grant Stallions


Nick Kuebler – The junior leads the team with a .509 batting average, 27 hits, 29 RBI’s, 10 extra base hits, 6 doubles, 2 triples and 2 home runs. He posts a solid .574 OBP, and a team leading 1.385 OPS. Nick’s slugging percentage is tops as well at .811 for the season.

Jacob Beard – Was named our Featured Player of the Week. The junior had an outstanding week going 5-8 with a triple, double, 3 RBI’s and 5 runs scored. His batting average is second on the club at .456, OBP .568, OPS 1.297.

Andy Duran – The junior is having a good season, his batting average is .406, 26 hits, 21 RBI’s, OBP .487, OPS 1.190. He leads the club with 14 extra base hits 11 doubles, 1 triple and 2 home runs for the season. Last year’s all-state player is expected to be a big factor in the Stallions playoff run this season.

Spencer Smith – The senior continues to have a fine season. His batting average is .397, 25 hits, 24 runs, 9 RBI’s with 13 extra base hits all doubles. He posts a solid .472 OBP, 1.075 OPS for the Stallions.

Alwin Duran – The freshman continues to have an outstanding first season. His .418 batting average, 23 hits, 29 RBI’s, 6 doubles, 2 triples, 2 home runs, OBP .455, and OPS 1.164 are all among the top statistics leaders.
