Independence Patriots


Bryson Jusko – The Patriots lead off hitter continues to set the table for the Patriots.  He has multiple base hits, stolen bases and runs scored while leading the team in hitting during the early going.  He had solid games against East Mecklenburg and West Mecklenburg this past week.

Noah Howie – The Patriots catcher and outfielder continues to spark the Patriots with clutch hits and RBI’s while accumulating a number of stolen bases which is a rarity for catchers.  He has has multiple hit games and had another solid week as he finds ways to get on base offensively.

Drew Harris and Jonathan “JT” Todaro –  Both hurlers are having a consistent season for the Patriots and have earned important wins and are giving the team solid innings of work.


Emily Shaver – The senior lead off batter in six games is hitting .429 with 6 hits, 1 double and 1 stolen base.

Mackenzie Grant – The sophomore is batting .500 with 6 hits, 7 RBI’s and has one triple in four games played.

Abrianna Berry – The junior is hitting.375 with six hits, 8 RBI’s, 2 steals with a triple and a home run for the Patriots.

Brianna Grant – The senior has accumulated 7 RBI’s on 5 hits and 6 runs scored.  She has a double and a home run while hitting at a .357 pace.

Maya Douglas – The sophomore is batting .375 has 7 runs, 6 hits, 5 RBI”s along with 1 steal, a double and home run in the early going.

Mallory Shaver – The powerful sophomore is hitting at .500 pace, has 5 runs, 7 hits and 2 triples for the Patriots.

Jaylin Adkins – The fastball pitcher has 16 innings logged to date with an ERA 0.00.  She has accumulated 22 strike outs, allowed 3 walks, 7 hits while facing 61 batters.  Her OBA is a low .121 and OBP .142 for the Lady Patriots.


Annaliese Shelley – The senior team leader and attacker/forward has scored 15 goals, has dished out 3 assists for a total of 33 points in 5 games recorded averaging 6.6 points per game.


Fernando Hernandez – In 4 games recorded the sophomore attacker has 7 goals and 2 assists for 8 points.

Matthew Kuilowski – The midfielder and captain has 1 goal and has accumulated 5 assists for 6 points this season to date.

Adam Ojanit – The senior midfielder has scored 4 goals during the early going for a total of 4 points.

Queens Grant Stallions 


Bryce Gorospe – The senior hurler has pitched 11 innings this season for the Stallions.  He has an ERA 0.64 with an OBA .118 and OBP .302.  He has allowed 4 hits, 8 walks and one earned run.  Bryce has picked up 14 strike outs while facing 45 batters to date.
