Independence Patriots 

Basketball:



Tyler Harris – The senior scored 15 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and had 1 steal against the Ravens this past Tuesday night.

Anthony Allen – The junior guard scored 12 points, 1 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals in the upset loss to the Ravens.

Matt Smith – The senior bounced back with a solid ball game against Myers Park as he dominated under the boards grabbing 11 rebounds and scoring 14 points for the double-double.  He also had 4 blocks in the Patriots huge win.

Andra (AJ) McKee – The senior guard had a good night against the Mustang’s with 14 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 1 block in a solid performance.

Honorable Mention: Miles Pauldin scored 8 points against the Ravens and followed up with 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals and 1 blocked shot against Myers Park.  Omarion Bodrick added 8 points against the Ravens, then followed with 5 rebounds and 1, assist along with 4 points against the Mustang’s.

Girl’s Basketball: 

Braylyn Milton – The sophomore finished strong in her last two games scoring 21 points against Rocky River and 22 points in the Myers Park game.

Honorable Mention: Laura Flynn contributed 8 points with multiple rebounds, and Grace Breckenridge added 8 points with multiple rebounds for the Patriots against the Lady Ravens.

Queens Grant Stallions 

Jah’Quez Sanders – The senior added to his 1000 career points with another 15 points in the Stallions blowout win over Bradford Prep.

LB Boyette – Scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the win over Bradford Prep this past week.

Ahmad McKnight – The senior has finished strong during the end of the season with a nice 13 point performance along with 6 rebounds and 3 huge blocked shots.

Rocky River Ravens 

Basketball:

Narique Smith – The senior point guard had an outstanding game against rival Independence with a 20 point performance.

Tim Smith – The hard working undersized big man for the Ravens had a solid performance by contributing 13 important points to secure the upset victory.

Girl’s Basketball:

Delayzha Dixon – This young lady is certainly one of the best athletes in the Southwestern 4A Conference scored 20 points for the Ravens in their win over the Lady Patriots.  Dixon is averaging 20.5 points per game this season with multiple double-doubles.

Mashya Scott – The junior contributed 16 huge points to complement Dixon in the win over Independence.

Honorable Mention: Andresia Alexander scored 10 points adding to her over 1000 points scored in her career, and Erial Chambers scored 10 points with 8 rebounds in the win.
