Avery County Wine & Beer Festival – Saturday, June 10, 2017in Plumtree, NC
Your admission cost and glass will allow you a “flight of tastings” per wine and beer vendor. Current vendors are: Blind Squirrel Brewery, Linville Falls Winery, Banner Elk Winery, Beech Mountain Brewing Company, Flat Top Brewing Company, Lost Province Brewing Company, Lake James Cellars Winery, Boondocks Brewing Company, and others.
Thistle Meadow Winemaker’s Festival – June 17, 2017 in Laurel Springs, NC
Amateur winemakers showcase their talent at the Grapestompers/Thistle Meadow Winery. Purchase a 16 oz. souvenir wine glass for only $5.00, and you can help judge the winners of the festival.
Burning CAN Beer Festival – July 21-22 2017 in Brevard, NC
You will only find breweries that can their beer at Burning CAN. Live music, delicious food, activities galore and camping are offered at this festival. This year’s music line up includes – JJ Grey & MOFRO, JD McPherson, Fruition, The Hip Abduction, Jon Stickley Trio, The Suitcase Junket, Dead 27’s, Los Colognes & Devon Gilfillian.
Brewgrass Festival – September 16, 2017 in Asheville, NC
More than 100 breweries and brewpubs showcase their handcrafted beer at this festival each year. Come enjoy music from headliner the Jeff Austin Band featuring Jeff Austin, formerly of Yonder Mountain String Band, with Danny Barnes, Ross Martin and Eric Thorin. Also joining the roster are Western North Carolina’s own Big Daddy Love, and Packway Handle Band from Athens.
