By the time this article is printed, you will have 5 shopping days left until Christmas. That’s assuming you are reading this the day that it is printed – why would you wait?! Today, I have a few suggestions for my favorite type of gift – stocking stuffers!

Williams-Sonoma Open Kitchen Champagne Stopper – Designed to preserve the signature bubbles in champagnes and sparkling wines, the sturdy stainless-steel stopper has an airtight silicone seal that keeps the festive fizz inside an opened bottle.

Navarini Copper Wine Bottle Coaster – This hand crafted, Italian copper coaster will perfectly accommodate any regular size wine bottle and adds rustic warmth to the table.

Adult Wine Coloring Book – This adult coloring book contains 40 wine themed paisley, henna and mehndi style designs and coloring pages that are designed to promote stress relief and relaxation.

Corkcicle Air – This is a wine stopper with multiple functions. It serves to both aerate your wine as you pour and keep your whites at their proper temperature for consumption.

Glass Writers – Glass charms are a thing of the past. The new trend is glass markers. Guests can be creative with these non-toxic, temporary markers. Identify your glass with a name or to add a whimsical illustration or phrase. Markers can also be used on ceramic plates and mugs and are ideal for labeling wine and cheese at tastings.

White Wipes – Teeth whitening wipes designed for coffee and red wine lovers. 12 individually wrapped wipes immediately brighten your smile after a cup of coffee or red wine.

Wine-themed cookbook – There are many foods & recipes that pair excellently with certain red and white wines. Cookbooks make for a helpful guide.

Gift cards/certificates – Who doesn’t love receiving a gift card? Stockings are the perfect place for a gift card. Restaurants and bars in the area are standing by ready for the gifting season. Pair your gift card with a unique container or a fun printable gift tag to make it more personable.

Check out our blog at www.vintnershill.com/blog for pictures and links for the gifts above as well as more ideas for this holiday season. For questions on gifting beer, wine and holiday parties -please stop by Vintner’s Hill at 7427 Matthews-Mint Hill Rd. #108 or call 980-207-4242.

Cheers!

PS-Our article a few weeks ago on calculating the amount of wine needed for a party had an error. Please note this new formula:

# of hours of the party MULTIPLIED by the # of guests DIVIDED by 5 = the # of bottles you will need.
