Annual festival mixing fan favorites with new offerings
MINT HILL – Every year the people of Mint Hill celebrate the founding of the Town with a weekend festival in May. This year, the COVID-19 virus had other plans for all of us. The 37th annual, family-friendly festival will be held August 6-8, 2020 at the Mint Hill Veterans Memorial Park, 8850 Fairview Road, in Mint Hill.
This year’s Mint Hill Madness festival pairs new offerings with a lot of fan favorites. Joining the traditional carnival rides, games, boardwalk-style food and arts and crafts vendors, this year’s festival will include the Mint Hill Family Olympics.
Live entertainment will continue to be a big part of the festival and headliners for this year include Groove Machine a 70’s party band on Friday night. Saturday’s entertainment includes the L.A. Maybe, a 5-piece Rock and Roll band, Jake HaldenVang who was runner up on TheVoice and fan favorite, On the Border, the Ultimate Eagles Tribute band. The Fireworks Extravaganza promises to be larger and better than ever. For more information, including a complete entertainment schedule, visit:https://minthillevents.org
