CHARLOTTE – Saying goodbye to a fur baby is never easy, and the grief that can accompany such a loss is often at least as painful as that of losing a human friend or family member. We truly believe that pets become members of our families and that once their time with us on earth comes to a close, they still deserve to be treated as such.
Faithful Companion pet cremation services hold these same core values, which is one of the reasons why our partnership is so meaningful. Through their services, they are dedicated to helping all families find closure in a very difficult time. “It can be a hard job,” says David Dygowski of Faithful Companion, “but our wonderful staff see and hear the most incredible stories of companionship every day, and we are so humbled and grateful to serve the community.”
A few years ago, we also collaborated with Faithful Companion to start our Pet Grief Group, which currently meets virtually on a monthly basis, and is led by a licensed therapist who specializes in bereavement. We invite any pet parent grieving the loss of their fur baby – recent or in the past- to attend and talk to others who share in their sentiments. You can find dates & more information about the meetings at www.facebook.com/thepetgriefgroup and learn more about the services Faithful Companion offers at faithfulcompanion.com.
