MINT HILL, NC – The Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the winners of thisyear’s Chamber sponsored scholarships. Three students, who are residents of Mint Hill, arechosen each spring by a Chamber committee. The College Scholarship Program, instituted by the 2014 Board of Directors, is made possible by the support of Mint Hill Chamber members, the business community, and the success of its annual Golf Classic.

Tetnika Williamson, Chamber Director, Instructional Facilitator at Independence High Schooland Business Alliance Advisor said, “The Scholarship Committee is truly impressed with the talent & perseverance our high school seniors have demonstrated during such unprecedented times. We hope our contribution will help propel them as they embark upon their academic and career journey.”
The program has grown thanks to the support of the community. Funds are raised from our annual September Golf Classic, as well as the generosity of Pour 64 hosting an annual cornhole tournament. We’d love to continue to grow the program and increase the award amounts. If your company is interested in partnering with us, our Executive Director Paige McKinney can be reached at paige@minthillchamberofcommerce.com.
