Why did you join the Chamber? Like with any business group you visit initially to determine what type of opportunity there will be for you to grow your own business. You hope you will make contacts that can help you and of course be able to partner to help your own customers that may have a need. I visited the Mint Hill Chamber for a coffee networking event to determine what opportunities may be available. However, upon my visit I discovered more than the standard business organization. I discovered a great group of people that not only want to grow their business but care about the people and the businesses of their community and want to see all succeed. The Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce is such a great group of people. It was impossible not to join!!
Fun Fact! I started in the mortgage business in 2001 with Merrill Lynch. After several months of training, I was moved to the sales floor. My first call was from Merrill Lynch Financial and his client, former Secretary of the Treasury under President Reagan, Donald Regan. Somehow by the grace of God I made it through that call and was able to help. I knew from that point on that if I could help the 66th United States Secretary of the Treasury it would be all downhill from there. Here I am over 20 years later still helping customers and loving what I do.
