Name: Taylor Grimes

Company: SERVPRO of East Mecklenburg/Matthews

Role: Director of Emergency Response

Why did you join the Chamber: I joined the Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce because I wanted a chance to get involved in the Mint Hill community and to meet those who take part in positively impacting it. I saw this as an opportunity to get to know others by networking and learning more about local businesses around (and beyond) our community. Also, I wanted to focus on sharing more about SERVPRO of East Mecklenburg/Matthews and the restoration services that we provide to help others in a time of need, through both Mitigation and Reconstruction services for Commercial and Residential properties.

Fun Fact: I have been in the construction industry since I was about 13 years old, and learned from an early age how to perform various parts of the business to successfully impact others (both on and off the jobsite)!

Did You Know?

The ‘Pennsylvania Evening Post’ was the first newspaper to print the Declaration of Independence.

It came out in the newspaper on July 6, 1776 for everyone to see, after a local printer named John Dunlap produced copies of the declaration’s manuscript.
