News You Can Use

Mint Hill was settled by determined colonists around the year 1750. The Town was truly founded around Philadelphia Presbyterian Church, which began in 1770. Mint Hill officials forfeited the original Town Charter in 1910 so Mecklenburg County would establish a thoroughfare in Town; the County had declined to construct streets/highways through incorporated areas. Mint Hill became incorporated again, after sixty-one years.
