Whitleigh Cook

Whitleigh Cook is the founder of Mint Hill Dance Center and this year’s recipient of the Tina Ross Business Leadership Award. She believes that dance creates great citizens. It gives them the discipline to take on life tasks headfirst through respect, responsibility, teamwork, and healthy body image just to name a few. She uses her business to bring awareness to community change and is an advocate for service and philanthropy through many organizations. Whitleigh is always giving of her time and finances to further help the community of Mint Hill. Congratulations Whitleigh and thanks for everything you do!




Dave Martinson

Dave Martinson of Create A Video was selected as this year’s Business Partner of the Year recipient. Dave has volunteered his time for 6 years serving on our board. Five of those years were spent as the Treasurer on the Executive Board. He created the first budget for the Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce, which is the model we still use today. Dave gives his talents and resources to the Chamber and other members of the community as well as to the Mint Hill community. Thank you Dave for everything you do and congratulations!


Denise Boston

Denise Boston is recognized as this year’s Ambassador of the Year for Chick-fil-A Albemarle Road. Denise is on 3 fundraising committees for the Chamber. She is someone who is always very willing to give of not only her time but her resources. She is seen throughout the community as someone who is very respected and a leader. You can find Denise either at the Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce or in the community. She thrives on helping others and is oftentimes not seen doing the behind-the-scenes work. Denise is someone who is a positive role model in the community and is great at promoting the values of the Chamber. Thank you for all you do for Mint Hill and congratulations on this award!
