Scholarship applications for 2021 high school seniors will be accepted from January 15, 2021, through March 15, 2021. (Reoccurring each year.)The Mint Hill Chamber will award a one-time scholarship of $1,000 to (1) male, (1) female, and (1) committees choice recipient, who plan to attend a 2 or 4-year college and reside within the incorporated limits of the Town of Mint Hill (www.minthill.com) and exhibit excellence in academic achievement, community involvement, extracurricular activities, and proven leadership ability.

Why did you join the chamber? I initially joined the Mint Hill Business Association to try to give back to my community. I remain a member of the Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce for the same reason. The Chamber (and the Business Association before it) have contributed greatly to the business community in Mint Hill.

Fun Fact? My wife and I have enjoyed RVing for over twenty years and still are on the go whenever possible.

Troy began his life long career in construction and real estate, moving to the Charlotte area in the late 1950s. He was elected in 1975 he served 8 terms as Mayor. He was also was heavily involved with the Mint Hill Volunteer Fire Department for 42 years.
