This event is to support the Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce College Scholarship Program. There will be raffles, music, and food truck. Come out for a day of fun and hang out in downtown Mint Hill.
Get to know your Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce Executive Board:
How did you land in the field you are in today? We moved to Charlotte for my husband to work at Presbyterian Medical Center. I got an accounting job there, and that was my introduction into healthcare.
What is your favorite activity after/outside of work? Music, reading, spending time with family, and especially my 3 year old grandson.
What is the best professional advice you can give to the next round of rookies in your field? Stay true to yourself and your own belief system. If you can do that, you can always be your authentic self with every person you encounter.
What is something someone told you that you have not forgotten or it made an impact on you? It’s actually a Bible verse that hangs on my wall in my office: Don’t worry about anything and pray about everything. I learned a long time ago to not worry about something until you have something to worry about, and I’ve always tried to teach that to my kids.
Tell us a fun fact about you! I love roller coasters! We recently went to Germany, and we rode an Alpine roller coaster that was super fast and so much fun!
