Independence Patriots:

Football:



Bryson Tisdale – The junior had 8 pass receptions for 125 yards. His longest reception was a 55 yard gem for a touchdown on a fake punt. The play was a direct snap to Josh Iseah who found Tisdale open to put Indy temporarily on top 15-11 in the third period against undefeated Myers Park.

Girls Soccer:

Abbey Stengal – The sophomore Patriot in 3 games has 3 goals, 10 points, 1.3 assists, and a 3.3 points per game average.

Samantha Swinson – In 4 games she has scored 4 goals, has 9 points, and has averaged points 2.3 points per game.

Kamyrn Browder – This Lady Patriot has contributed in 4 games 4 goals, scoring 3 goals against the Wildcats alone. She has accumulated 9 points with a 2.3 points averaged per game.

Queens Grant Stallions:

Soccer:

Anthony Armas – The sophomore in 14 games leads the team with 9 goals, 24 points, and averaging 1.7points per game for the young Stallions.

Rocky River Ravens:

Football:

Kalib Jennings – The workhorse senior RB rushed for 130 yards on 17 carries to lead the Ravens to a 46-0 rout of the Garinger Wildcats. He had a touchdown and scored four 2-point conversions. Jennings is this weeks “Featured Player of the Week.”

Antjuan A.J. Collins – The senior WR and DB had an outstanding game Friday night. Offensively, he rushed for a 23 yard touchdown, a 5 yard TD late in the game, and he passed for a 15 yard touchdown to Jevon McIver. On defense he scored a touchdown on a 40 yard interception being involved in 28 points. Collins was runner-up and could easily have been selected for the “Featured Player of the Week.” A very consistent and solid performer for the Ravens all season long.

Khalil Archie – The Ravens QB made a significant contribution on Friday night in the Ravens overwhelming win over the Wildcats. He completed 8 passes on 16 attempts for 67 yards, and rushed 5 times for 44 yards giving his a combined 111 all-purpose yards.

Christian Rudisell – The senior two sport athlete finished his high school carrier with two interceptions for the Ravens.

Kamari Brooks – The returning junior rambled for a 23 yard touchdown in the contest.

Zyier McCall – The senior 6’3′ 245 pound DE, had 3 fumble recoveries for the Ravens to complete his high school football resume.
