We next drove to Nyahururu waterfalls. What an amazing natural falls and green forest area. In the great Rift Valley, we started our next Game Drive. We found out we would do 4 Game Drives over 3 days.

The “Big 5” we were looking for, appeared over 3 times each in these drives. How very lucky we were indeed. Then it was on to the Masai Mara, the most famous of the “Big 5 Game” areas.

After some spectacular sightings in these Game Drives, we finished up our tour with a visit to the farmhouse of Karen Bixen, the author of “Out of Africa”. The endangered Rothschild Giraffes at her ranch were a sight to behold.

Our last Game drives were in Amboseli National Park, where we saw Mt Kilimanjaro, in all it’s snow capped glory. Here we saw the most gracious Elephants in the world, as well as a Snow Leopard.

Back at home, we were greeted with a “Welcome Home Basket” and Card Barbara had made up for us.  Thank You, Phil and Barbara.
