We Cruised With Virgin Voyages Part 15

CHARLOTTE – Disembarkment on day 6 was a pleasant surprise. You picked a time that was good for you between 7 am and 11 am. We picked 8:30. We opted to roll our own baggage off, so we just ate breakfast, then went to our cabin for the last time. We checked out on the app, then went to the exit area on deck 7. There was no line, so we walked up and scanned our wristband for the last time. We walked off toCustoms and Immigration, and when we got there, we were the ONLY ones there. Unlike the cattle calls, I have suffered through on so many cruises, this was pleasant and brief. We had a nice conversation with the officer about the ship, then we walked out and hailed a cab.

To wrap, just a brief review and advice.

The food was a 10 or maybe better. The “Galley” food court was excellent as a concept and in practice.

The ship is brand new and sailed at 51%, so maybe we were more space impressed than anything else, but it is a great ship, well designed, and did I mention – Innovative.
