Travel In A New Era- Part 5

CHARLOTTE – We adjourned our meeting about 4 and Barbara and I enjoyed some downtime at the Zero Entry, Glass Front, Beachside pool. Service there was outstanding. Dinner tonight was at French Restaurant Le Parisienne. For Phil French Onion Soup, Escargot, and the specialty Cordon Bleu. For Barbara French onion soup and the Cordon Bleu. We enjoyed a little quiet time in a cabana for 2 in the Central Beachside Area while attesting to the highly-rated sunsets on the beach. An evening show had us on our feet happy and singing along. The talent at this resort is top-notch. After a great night’s sleep in our new digs, Sunday brought another great breakfast at the American Tavern. That left lots of free time at the amazing main pool. Our private deck and swim-out area, a long private beach with a ton of choices for beach beds. We tried all 3 and spent the most time at the pool. With a zero-entry area, a large jacuzzi, and the best bar on this side of Texas, we were more than pleased. Dinner brought Schooners Seafood Restaurant.

I had a healthy choice of Seafood Ceviche and Lobster Tail. Barbara had the Lobster Bisque and LobsterTail. Banana Crème Brulee finished off a great meal, enjoyed the seaside. Thank you to our granddaughter Brooke for teaching me to be on the lookout for healthier food.
