CHARLOTTE -Riu Resorts recently opened 2 new resorts in the Playa Mujeres, an upscale area, north of Cancun. The Riu Dunamar is the choice for families and couples looking for an upscale Resort at a price level that fits most budgets. Riu is still family-run and has a reputation for providing upscale fun, especially in these new resorts. Adjacent is the Riu Palace Costa Mujeres. Palaces are an upscale version, mostly restricted to adults only. They have more brand choices of alcohol and some upscale dining venues. When the palace Resort is located adjacent to a Riu Resort, clients have privileges at both resorts.

La Coleccion is a brand of very upscale resorts, offering such choices as Live Aqua in the DominicanRepublic, at introductory pricing up to 60% less than standard.

Many people are still concerned with a bus filled with 40 others, from different countries.
