CHARLOTTE – Upon arriving at the luxury resort, they were taken directly to a luxury suite, where they were checked in and given a copy of the FREE on-island medical insurance plan provided by the Luxury Resort and my agency. That policy would cover them for any on-island medical emergency, Covid related or otherwise, not covered by other insurance. This was very important because Mrs. Smitty had done some research at my request, and found most US Insurance Companies do not provide health insurance or hospitalization coverage while in a foreign country. This includes Medicare policies. This policy also provides coverage for Covid related issues.

Twenty Four hours later they were given a copy of the negative swab test results from the airport and were in the midst of enjoying the best vacation ever. After a few days they got a note from the LuxuryResort advising them they were scheduled to take another Rapid Swab Test at the resort, at no charge. This is a requirement of the United States of America, so they had to do it as scheduled. That evening they got an urgent phone call and a follow-up from the Butler, that they had to go to the resort Medical Facility immediately. You guessed it. One of the Rapid Tests had come back positive for Covid 19.
