This time of year seems to be the most popular period to ask for one’s hand in marriage. I know I titled this “He Asked”, but that is not always the case. Enough said about that, but Hint Hint you who have not yet asked. Let us talk about wedding choices and how we can help, starting with a domestic wedding here in the USA. As travel Consultants, we most often get requests to help plan a domestic wedding when it is going to be held away from the home town area of the couple. As wedding Consultants, Barbara and Danielle have experience in planning all the details of a wedding. For those brides who have done this on your own, you know how daunting it can be. When the ceremony is local, Barbara and Danielle can relate experiences to you at many local venues. There are a lot of choices and we can walk you through the why and why not in choices. We can provide excellent vendors for the precious wedding dress in most any price range. We have a member of the Mint Hill Chamber who rents reception necessities, a member who has a salon for preparation and a new member who rents a wedding venue. We can also recommend a “small chapel” in Charlotte.
The real challenge is when the ceremony is away from the local area. Here is where a Travel Consultant can save the day. We have access to reviews you can use to judge what each venue does best, We can arrange weddings in a luxury desert lodge, a luxury Vegas Resort, a quaint seaside resort or the Magic of the Magic Kingdom. We know the places, the people, and we have been to many of them, so we can best advise the couple. You can leave all the hassle of arrangements for family members to a travel consultant. Often we have on site wedding coordinators that will work directly with the bride on site arrangements, at no charge. A wedding at a resort away from home is called a destination wedding. Even a domestic destination wedding can be daunting, but an experienced Travel Consultant can take all of that for you.
