CHARLOTTE – Sandals had a special greeting area for guests of Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados. As always, Sandals provided the transfers as part of the reservation package at no charge. Sandals summoned our driver, who cheerfully welcomed us to Barbados, and nestled our luggage in the trunk for a quick trip to our Resort. En route our driver told us all about all of the special little things Barbados was known for, especially Barbados Rum. We passed one of the island Medical Schools during the quick trip. Within 15 minutes, we arrived at Sandals Royal Barbados, where we were welcomed by our Bell Services team and our Sandals Team Leader. Our luggage was whisked away, and we were given cool towels and an Island Cocktail, as we were escorted our Sandals Club Lounge. There we were greeted by name, given a choice of both liquid and solid refreshments, and we were checked in for our stay. Despite having had to make some changes to our reservation between the initial booking and our arrival, Sandals had everything ready and waiting for us.

Our Concierge escorted us to our second-floor suite with Balcony Soaking tub. The suite was very modern, perfectly cleaned, and very spacious. We had a large bathroom with a walk in shower, more than ample closet space, and a very large bedroom, sitting area. There were sliding glass doors that led, seamlessly, to our large balcony, where we found our soaking tub for 2 and a settee for 2. Our view was perfect, overlooking our semi-private lazy river style pools, and the Thatched Rondoval Suite of our neighbor. We had a full bar and refrigerator, loaded with everything we could have asked for. We had 5

bottles of liquor, 1 bottle of red wine on the shelf. We had beer, white wine, and champagne in our refrigerator. We were already settling in for our long-awaited and well-deserved vacation.
