Rest, Reflect and Reset

MINT HILL, NC – Winter break always comes at the right time. There is no doubt that this year has brought its share of ups and downs. We’ve had to navigate through uncharted territory, all while caring for our families and loved ones. We have had to try our best to maintain some sense of normalcy while juggling unpredictability. We faced some of the most unique problems that we have ever seen in our lives.

There are still so many uncertainties, and yet there is so much to be thankful for. What do we do to get the weight of the world (and 2020) off of our shoulders? Let’s use this time of year to get back to some good things that we may have allowed to fall by the wayside. Let’s also use this time to let some not so good things go. This is a good time to rest, reflect, and reset. We just need to take a moment to breathe. Many people have a tendency to overwork themselves during the holidays. This is a good time to minimize as much as you can. We all need the opportunity to rest. Once we take the time to slow down, we can begin to reflect. How has facing the challenges of this year made you a better person? Lastly, we can use this time to reset. We may have picked up a bad habit this year. What can we do to turn over a new leaf? What are our goals for 2021?
