
The holiday season is approaching and Mint Hill is decorated and planning activities to kick off the season. Here is a list of some of the activities happening around Town.
Jingle All the Way 5K
December 7th starting at 9:00 a.m.
Mint Hill Veterans Park
The Jingle All the Way 5k raises money to support the Mint Hill Police Department’s Volunteers in Police Service and the Police Explorers Post 545.
Senior Citizens Christmas Party
December 7th starting at 11 a.m.
Independence High School
Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce and Novant Health hosts the annual Senior Citizen Christmas party for Mint Hill residents over the age of 65. Lunch, entertainment, door prizes and health screenings will be offered.
Mint Hill Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade
December 7th starting at 5:30 p.m.
Downtown Mint Hill
The Town of Mint Hill and the Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the Town’s first Christmas parade prior to the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Join us downtown for a special nighttime parade featuring local businesses, organizations, bands and of course, Santa. The parade will travel down Matthews-Mint Hill Road from Bain School to the Mint Hill Library. Santa will leave after the parade and return to Town Hall for the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting.
