Mint Hill Library children’s activities for today are as follows:
Family Story Time will be held at 11:15 a.m.
Reading Buddies for children ages 5 through 11 will be available at 5 and 5:30 p.m. Children will read one-on-one with a teen volunteer for 30 minutes. Registration is required.
Saturday, November 10
The American Airlines Salute to Veterans Parade will be held in Charlotte at 11 a.m. The parade will start on North Tryon Street and will end at 600 S. Tryon Street. The parade will feature local middle and high school bands, JROTC program units, active military units, antique cars and veteran organizations.
Mint Hill Library children’s activities for today are as follows:
Family Story Time will be held at 9:30 a.m.
One-on-one math tutoring sessions with a teen volunteer will be available at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Registration is required.
The Chess Club will meet at 3 p.m.
Tuesday, November 13
Mint Hill Library children’s activities for today are as follows:
Baby Story Time for babies birth through 17 months will be held at 10:15 a.m.
Tiny Tots Story Time for toddlers ages 18 to 23 months will be held at 11:15 a.m.
Reading Buddies for children ages 5 through 11 will be available at 5 and 5:30 p.m. Children will read one-on-one with a teen volunteer for 30 minutes. Registration is required.
The Teen Geek Club will meet at 6 p.m. Registration is required.
Wednesday, November 14
Mint Hill Library children’s activities for today are as follows:
Two Time Story Time for toddlers age 24 to 36 months will be held at 10:15 a.m.
Preschool Story Time for children age 3 to 5 will be held at 11:15 a.m.
The Read a Book, Lean to Cook program will be held at 4 p.m. This is a hands-on program for school-age children to explore healthy cooking and eating. Registration is required.
Reading Buddies for children ages 5 through 11 will be available at 6 and 6:30 p.m. Children will read one-on-one with a teen volunteer for 30 minutes. Registration is required.
Bring the whole family for a puppet show at 6:30 p.m.
