The Matthews Alive Labor Day Festival will be held Friday, August 31 through Monday, September 3. The festival will kick off Friday night with $15 all-you-can-ride wristbands, shag dancing, live entertainment and more. Friday festival hours are 6-10 p.m.

The Matthews Alive Labor Day Festival will be held Friday, August 31 through Monday, September 3. The parade will begin Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. The Arts and Crafts Pavilion opens at 9 a.m. There will be carnival rides, live entertainment, festival food and children’s entertainment and activities throughout the day. Saturday main festival hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Kid’s Connection hours are 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Arts and Crafts hours are 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
