Farm Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Discovery Place Nature in Charlotte. Attendees will enjoy outdoor games, face painting, story time, puppet shows, crafts and up close encounters with animals such as pigs, goats and sheep. Farm Day events are included with museum admission.

Children can strengthen reading skills by reading aloud to a therapy dog during the Paws to Read program at 10:30 a.m.
Children ages 5-11 can register for a one-on-one math tutoring session with a teen volunteer. Tutoring sessions are held at 11 a.m.
Bring the kids in their pjs for the Summer Reading Program Kick-off at 2 p.m.

Happy Father’s Day!
The Kannapolis Intimidators will take on Greensboro at 5:05 p.m. The first 1,000 fans 18 and older will receive a free Kannapolis Intimidators bottle opener. Members of the Jr. Intimidators Club receive a complementary ticket to the game and will have the opportunity to take a Father’s Day family photo on the field.
