Mint Hill Library children’s activities for today are as follows:
Family Story Time will be held at 11:15 a.m.
Reading Buddies for children ages 5 through 12 will be available at 4 and 4:30 p.m. Children will read one-on-one with a teen volunteer for 30 minutes. Registration is required.
Children between the ages of 5 and 11 can come by the library at 6 p.m. to receive free homework help from a library volunteer.
Bring the whole family in their pjs for Family Pajama Story Time at 6:30 p.m.
Friday, June 1
Join the Kannapolis Intimidators for Faith and Family Night as they take on Hagerstown at 7:05 p.m. The event will celebrate faith and family with live music and fellowship. All local choirs, praise bands, and church musical groups are invited to take part in Choirs vs. Bands. Kids will have the opportunity to run the bases after the game. Saturday, June 2

Children can strengthen reading skills by reading aloud to a therapy dog during the Paws to Read program at 10:30 a.m.
The Teen Art Club will meet at 2 p.m. Registration is required.
The Chess Club will meet at 3 p.m.

The Kannapolis Intimidators will take on Hagerstown at 5:05 p.m. Bring your princesses and superheroes to the game dressed in their super hero disguises or royal dresses. Boys and girls will enjoy character appearances throughout the evening. Members of the Jr Intimidators Club receive a complementary ticket to the game and will enjoy a player autograph session.
