Mint Hill Library children’s activities for today are as follows:



Family Story Time will be held at the library at 11:15 a.m.

Active Reading Workshops will be held at the Mint Hill Library at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Parents and children can learn fun ideas and activities to support early literacy at home. Registration is required for this workshop series.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Discovery Place Kids in Huntersville with the story, The Love Monster, by Rachel Bright. The story will be read at 11:15 a.m. After storytime, kids can create special Valentine’s Day crafts. Storytime and crafts are included in museum admission.

Saturday, February 15

Mint Hill Library children’s activities for today are as follows:

One-on-one math tutoring sessions with a teen volunteer will be available at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Registration is required.

Family Story Time will be held at 9:30 a.m.

Children can strengthen reading skills by reading aloud to a therapy dog during the Paws to Read program at 10:30 a.m.

Chess Club will meet at 3 p.m.

The Charlotte Checkers will take on Springfield at 6 p.m. at the Bojangles’ Coliseum in Charlotte. Fans will receive a glow stick courtesy of Novant Health. Visit gocheckers.com for a schedule, promotions and ticket information.

The Charlotte Checkers will take on Springfield at 1 p.m. at the Bojangles’ Coliseum in Charlotte. Donate a least 10 school supply items to Classroom Central and receive a free ticket to the Checkers game on Friday, March 6. Monday, February 17

Families with babies and toddlers can visit the Mint Hill Library at 9:30 a.m. for Family Story Time: 0-2. The program will include stories, songs, and movement.

Tuesday, February 18

Mint Hill Library children’s activities for today are as follows:

Baby Story Time for babies birth through 17 months will be held at 10:15 a.m.

Tiny Tots Story Time for toddlers ages 18 to 23 months will be held at 11:15 a.m.

Wednesday, February 19

Two Time Story Time for toddlers age 24 to 36 months will be held at 10:15 a.m.

Preschool Story Time for children age 3 to 5 will be held at 11:15 a.m.
