STEAM 101 for preteens and teens (ages 8-15) will be held at 11 a.m. Attendees will participate in a variety of hands-on science experiments, engineering projects, or math puzzles. Registration is required.
Monday, January 27
Mint Hill Library children’s activities for today are as follows:
Families with babies and toddlers can visit the library at 9:30 a.m. for Family Story Time: 0-2. The program will include stories, songs and movement.
Children will enjoy stories, songs and activities in both English and Spanish during the Stories in 2 Languages: Spanish program at 10:15 a.m.
An Evening Chess Club for all ages will be held at 5:30 p.m. Participants can learn chess basics and test skills in one-on-one or group chess games. Registration is required.

Two Time Story Time for toddlers age 24 to 36 months will be held at 10:15 a.m.
Preschool Story Time for children age 3 to 5 will be held at 11:15 a.m.
An Active Reading Workshop will be held at the Mint Hill Library at 6:30 p.m. Parents and children can learn fun ideas and activities to support early literacy at home. Registration is required for this workshop series.
