Family Story Time will be held at 11:15 a.m.
Rookie Science will be held at 4 p.m. Children will discover the world of science through books, hands-on educational activities, and experiments. Registration is required.
Saturday, January 18
The 2020 Atrium Health Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Parade will begin at 10 a.m. in Charlotte. Beginning at 9th Street, the parade will march down Tryon Street to end at Stonewall Street.

Children can strengthen reading skills by reading aloud to a therapy dog during the Paws to Read program at 10:30 a.m.
Teens are invited to participate in Community Service Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Participants will work on projects to help the library and other community organizations. Registration is required.
