Mint Hill Library children’s activities for today are as follows:



Family Story Time will be held at the library at 11:15 a.m.

Reading Buddies for children ages 5 through 11 will be available at 4:00, 4:30, 5:30 and 6:00 p.m. Children will read one-on-one with a library volunteer for 30 minutes. Registration is required. Registration is limited to one 30 minute session per week.

Friday, December 13

The Charlotte Checkers will take on Syracuse at 7:00 p.m. at the Bojangles’ Coliseum in Charlotte. Visit gocheckers.com for a schedule, promotions and ticket information.

Children’s Theater of Charlotte will present The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical from November 29 through December 29 at McColl Family Theater. Holiday on Ice, Charlotte’s outdoor ice skating rink, is open for the 2019 season. Bring your own skates for $12 or admission plus skate rental is $16. Tickets are currently on sale for Breakfast with Santa at the Matthews Community Center. Breakfast with Santa is scheduled for December 14 and 21 at 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. The event is for children ages 2-8. Tickets are $10 per person. Mint Hill Library children’s activities for today are as follows:

Families with babies and toddlers can visit the library at 9:30 a.m. for Family Story Time: 0-2. The program will include stories, songs and movement.

Children will enjoy stories, songs and activities in both English and Spanish during the Stories in 2 Languages: Spanish program at 10:15 a.m.

Tuesday, December 17
