Bring a lawn chair or blanket to Stumptown Park in downtown Matthews for “Food Truck Friday.” The event is held on second and fourth Fridays, April through September, from 5-9 pm. The event features food and dessert trucks, music and bounce houses. Tonight’s concert will feature Gal Friday. The 2019 Queen City Summer Fest will be held at the Carole Hoefener Center (615 E. 6th Street, Charlotte) from 1-5 p.m. The event will feature over 50 vendors, food, a bounce house, kids activities, face painting, performances, contests, games, and more.
