MINT HILL – On Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at approximately 11:30AM the officers and civilian staff had a special visitor stop by the police department to give them a special surprise. Ms. Carolina Cutie Pies first runner up, Daisy Mae, gave every officer and civilian staff their own personal stocking stuffed with sweet goodies. She said it was, “Some treats before you hit the streets.” She even took the time to pose with Sgt. Gilman in the attached picture.

Ms. Daisy Mae is a 2-year old little girl that loves spreading cheer to everyone she meets. When asked by her Mom who she wanted to make stockings for, Ms. Daisy Mae said, “The police.” Well, that’s exactly what she did.

Ms. Daisy Mae and Mom thanked the Mint Hill Police Officers for keeping her baby girl and their family safe.
