Broccoli Calzone
After the turkey leftovers are gone and you’ve started the holiday shopping, this calzone is a comforting flavor break from the flavors of the holiday.

INGREDIENTS:
• 1 fresh or frozen pizza dough
• EVOO
• 1 box chopped, frozen broccoli, defrosted
• ½ large bag frozen broccoli pieces
• ½ C diced onion
• garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste
• 8 slices Provolone cheese
• 8 slices white American cheese
• ¼ C, plus 2 T grated Romano cheese



DIRECTIONS:
Sauté onion until translucent, then and all broccoli, and seasonings to taste. Let cool. Roll out dough into a 9×13 rectangle. Place cheeses across dough the long way. Spread broccoli mixture over cheeses, and sprinkle ½ cup grated Romano. Fold dough sides, overlapping by about an inch, then fold ends under. Place seam side down on a sprayed baking sheet. Sprinkle top with remaining 2 T of Romano, with a knife, poke 6-8 air holes, and bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes.
