Right now, things are quite different from what we’re used to, and that can be a little scary. That’s understandable. If you’re one of those people that still have to go out – maybe you’re the family grocery-getter, maybe you take care of a family member or maybe you work in an essential service – the last thing you want to think about is auto repair. But, of course, the check engine light does not care for our worldly concerns. When it wants to come on, it does. If that happens, we’re here for you.
Auto repair shops have been deemed an essential service. That means we are allowed to stay open during orders like these. We do, however, have to make sure we’re upping our cleaning efforts and we have to ask our customers to practice proper social distancing when they visit the office.
Many shops, including ours, are increasing efforts to avoid contact altogether. We offer ride services and, in some cases, vehicle pick-ups and drop-offs. We’ve also increased our ability to accept payments over the phone, for those that use debit or credit cards, so entering the office is not needed.
Ultimately, the most important thing is that we all remain safe and support each other. Give your friends and family a call, support your locally owned small businesses your support when you can, and most importantly, stay at home for everything but the essentials. Just know that if you need us during this time, we’re here for you.
