Independence Patriots 

Basketball: 



Andra McKee – The senior guard scored 22 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists, and added 2 steals while being named “Player of the Game” by coach Preston Davis.

Matt Smith – The senior power forward continues with a solid season scoring 16 points, grabbing 11 rebounds for the double-double.  He also had 3 assists and 1 steal in the win over the Pirates.

Anthony Allen – The junior guard scored 15 points, 2 rebounds and added 3 steals in the game on Friday night for the Patriots.

Girls Basketball: 

Grace Breckenridge – The upcoming sophomore contributed 8 points, hauled down 11 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 blocks for the Lady Patriots.  The forward was named “Player of the Game” by coach Lauren Galvani.

Braylyn Milton – The talented sophomore scored 15 points, 2 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks in the teams victory.

Sharonda Smith – The senior scored 17 points, added 1 rebound and 3 blocks for the Lady Patriots.

Azunia Barrino – The junior made a solid contribution with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 1 assist in the Lady Patriots big blowout win over Porter Ridge.

Queens Grant Stallions

Basketball: 

LB Boyette – The junior forward had an outstanding game when needed most scoring 22 points and grabbing 8 rebounds in the Stallions upset victory over Union Academy.

Jah’Quez Sanders – The senior leader contributed 18 points and 6 rebounds in the big win keeping the Stallions in the top ten in the state for 1-A schools.

Rocky River Ravens 

Narique Smith – The senior guard scored 13 points, hit 3 of 6 three point shots and hauled down 4 rebounds from his guard position on Friday night against the Ragin’ Bulls for the Ravens.

Tobias Forte – The sophomore guard contributed 12 points and knocked down one three pointer for the Ravens.

Tim Smith – The senior forward scored 11 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and ran off 7 straight points for the Ravens in the important third period.

Girls Basketball: 

Delayzha Dixon – The junior scored 30 points a career high for the Lady Ravens against Hickory Ridge to lead all scorers in the contest.

Andresia Alexander – The senior lightening quick guard scored 15 points, including adding multiple assists and steals for the Lady Ravens.

Mashya Scott – This junior made a nice contribution scoring 10 points along with multiple assists and a steal for the Lady Ravens.
