Independence Patriots: 

Football: 



Kaden Thomas – The TE/RB for the Patriots had a big night with 7 carries for 106 yards including a 30 yard touchdown scamper while picking up 4 key first downs.

Amari Hakeem – The senior workhorse gained 84 yards rushing including 1 pass reception for 23 yards in the Patriots win over Hopewell.

Cameron Kromah – The senior QB completed 10-23 passes for 116 yards through the air. He contributed another 23 yards on 3 carries.

Joe Moraglia – The junior WR had three receptions for 58 yards in the victory.

Joe Reddish – The DB made a nice contribution with a solo tackle, 2 interceptions, one for a touchdown and return yardage of 26 yards.

Tyree Glenn – The Safety blocked a punt in the end zone and recovered for a touchdown, and blocked another kick during the contest.

Joshua Iseah, Moshay Saw, Khalil Morrison – All three defensive players had 3 solo tackles in the football game.

Soccer: 

Charlie Gottlieb – The junior leads the team with 5 goals, 1 assist and 11 points on the season.

Ru Reh – The sophomore scored a goal against Marvin Ridge and now has 3 goals, 4 assists and 10 points on the season.

Abdul Tumusline – The senior scored his first goal of the season to make a contribution in the Patriots 3-1 win.

Thomas Rosenquist – The senior continues to play solid defense while adding 2 goals, 4 assists offensively for the Patriots.

Daniel Locklear – The junior goaltender allowed one goal and had 4 saves in the match. On the season in 599 minutes in the net he has accumulated 17 saves, allowed  11 goals in 9 games with two shut outs. Meanwhile, he kicked a 26 yard field goal, made 5-6 PAT attempts for a total of 8 points on Friday night football.

Rocky River Ravens: 

Football:

Khalil Archie – The senior QB completed 5-15 passes for 76 yards, had one TD, his longest pass completion was 39 yards. He also had 6 carries for 12 yards, and one rushing touchdown.

Antwione Norris – The all purpose player had 3 receptions for 59 yards, and added another 81 yards on kick returns for the Ravens.

Rashaad McCollum – The 6′ 4″ 240 pound DE had a huge game. He accumulated 4 sacks, 4 tackles, 2 solo’s, with 5 assists defensively in the Ravens win over Sun Valley.

Jaylen Stringfellow – Had two big defensive plays in the win Friday night with a key interception returned for 62 yards for a TD, including a fumble recovery in the end zone for a second touchdown in the 34-14 victory.

Queen’s Grant Stallions:

Liam Lorenzotti – The junior scored 2 goals in the Stallions 4-2 victory over Mount Pleasant recently. He was also named “Player of the Game.”  He now has 3 goals and 2 assists on the season.

Anthony Armas, Gabe Massey – Both players would contribute a goal in the big win for the Stallions. They now have combined scoring 4 goals apiece on the season while adding 3 assists to lead the team.
