Basketball:Â
Anthony Allen –Â The senior guard led all scorers with 25 points scoring 12 in the second half to cement the road win over Porter Ridge. His performance helped the Patriots remain undefeated in the South Western 4A Conference. Allen contributed 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals earning him to be named “Player of the Game.”
Omarion Bodrick – The junior standout contributed 18 points, hauled down 13 rebounds for the double-double. He also had 4 blocks, 4 assists in a very solid performance in the conference victory over the Pirates.
Girls Basketball:Â
Braylan Milton – The junior standout who is averaging 19.8 points per game this season scored 33 points against Porter Ridge in a big conference win. She also contributed 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 6 steals and 3 blocks for the Lady Patriots.
Trinity Thompson – The senior made a solid contribution scoring 14 points, grabbing 5 rebounds while causing havoc in the backcourt with 10 steals and had 9 assists with some nifty passing in the bi win over the Lady Pirates.
Grace Breckenridge – The tall junior center and power forward scored 13 points and hauled in 13 rebounds for a double-double against Concord in a non-conference victory. She also had 5 blocks in the contest.
Queen’s Grant Stallions:
Basketball:Â
LB Boyette – The senior continues to improve his game as the season progresses scoring 26 points against Grace Academy and 21 points in the Langtree victory for the Stallions. He also added 10 rebounds and 4 steals in the Grace win getting another double-double.
Jeremiah Murphy – The senior scored 20 points against both Langtree and Grace Academy in recent games for the Stallions. He also had 11 in the Grace game for a double-double.
Jeremiah Wooten –Â The big guy continues to make a significant contribution scoring 16 points and hauling down 17 rebounds against Langtree. He also added 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the Grace Academy win.
Rocky River Ravens:Â Â
Basketball:Â
Calik “Duke” Thomas – The junior scored 13 points against Myers Park in the upset, shot 5-6 from the free throw line, grabbed 6 rebounds and had 1 block. In the road win over Charlotte Christian, he scored 16 points, added 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks for the Ravens.
Nick Burns – The senior was named the “Player of the Game” against Charlotte Christian scoring 18 points, shooting 8-10 free throws, 3 assists and 2 steals along with grabbing 4 rebounds in the road win.
Stephon Richards – The junior contributed 10 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal against Myers Park at home. While on the road he remained consistent scoring 9 points, hauling in 9 rebounds with an assist and steal in the victory.
Christian Rudisell –Â The Ravens junior scored 14 points, pulled down 7 rebounds and added an assist in the Myers Park upset victory.
Tobias Forte – The junior guard was nominated “Player of the Game” for the Ravens against Myers Park for his outstanding defensive performance, excellent passing contributing 6 assists, 1 steal, 1 deflection and adding 6 points in an all-around solid game.
