Davion Nelson –Â The talented junior with the powerful legs rushed for 184 yards on 40 carries from scrimmage for the Patriots. He also scored a touchdown on a run for 33 yards, and completed a halfback pass for 20 yards in the Pats first playoff game since 2014.
Shai Wheeler – The all-purpose senior had a solid performance in his last game in a Patriots uniform. He rushed for 114 yards on 20 carries, scored a touchdown on a 27 yard scamper, and passed for 25 yards on 3 of 7 completions.
Tyson Clawson – The junior Tight End and Defensive End went both ways in the playoff game on Friday night. He opened up some nice holes for the running backs, made some key defensive stops and was involved in multiple tackles to lead the defense.
Ronnell Garrett – The junior linebacker was involved in multiple tackles all night in the playoff game and when the Patriots used a two Tight End offense he provided some key blocks for the running backs.
Brian Morgan – The senior wide receiver had two big clutch catches both for 20 yards each at key times during the football game on Friday night to end his career at Independence.
Honorable Mention: Trevor Bryan, 2-point conversion and one pass reception, Sirr Robison, Melsy Bonilla, Jeremy Phillips, Omar Zazueta, Dante Anderson, Taejuan Smith and Ethan Safriet all played a solid game for the Patriots.

Jeremiah Murphy – The senior team leader had another solid game scoring 19 points and hauling down 8 rebounds against Charlotte Country Day in a non-conference match-up.
LB Boyette –Â This senior is an offensive force for the Stallions as he scored another 18 points in the 64-50 loss to Charlotte Country Day this past week.
