After a year hiatus, the event formerly known as Sunday Afternoon in the Park will return as the Annual Tina Ross Afternoon in the Park as a tribute to the late Commissioner Tina Ross in honor of her love for the arts and the Town of Mint Hill. Tina loved this town and dedicated her life to be a public servant for it’s betterment.
The Town, in conjunction with the Arts and Science Council and Atrium Health will sponsor the event. The committee is soliciting artists and musicians to display, perform, demonstrate and sell their handmade items on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The event will be held at the fountain in front of Town Hall located at 4430 Mint Hill Village Lane. There is a $20 fee for artist participation (food vendor fees are $30); vendors need to provide their own tables, tents, displays, etc. No electricity is provided. Only items handmade by the exhibiting artist will be allowed. Vendors are responsible for obtaining all necessary licenses and permits. The committee reserves the right to reject any pieces that do not fit our family friendly event.
The application can be found online at: https://bit.ly/2ZZvedZ. Please complete and return with a photograph of your work by September 15, 2019. You will be notified of your acceptance by September 25. Feel free to share this information with your friends.
