If you have gone up or down Fairview Rd., you may not have noticed Manchester Auto and Tire of Mint Hill, but if you look for it, you will find a gem. In business since 1999, part owner Jennifer Manchester points to excellence in service as the reason for their longevity. “We get it right the first time,” she said.
“All of our technicians are highly experienced,” Jennifer said, “most have been doing this 20 years or more.” And because they live in Mint Hill, Jennifer added, “We have to do a good job so I can hold my head high when I walk into neighborhood stores and restaurants! “Long time customer and TV weatherman Larry Sprinkle said, “I come here because of the honesty.” Manchester Auto and Tire is a family owned business very involved in the community through the Chamber of Commerce and other local organizations and agencies.
Co-owner Ken Manchester is a Master Certified ASE Technician in three fields, and also holds the ASE L1 Advanced Performance Certification. A strong supporter of ASE, Ken has been a member since their inception and contributed to the development of their testing materials. He was voted ASE Technician of the Year in 2007 and 2008, and he leads the technical team with advice and guidance. According to Ken’s bio, he said, “In order for Manchester Auto and Tire of Mint Hill to provide an exceptional level of service for years to come, we must update our equipment and technician training to keep up with the continuous changes in automotive technology. We must also comply with state and federal mandated laws that provide for a clean environment and safety.”
“In addition, our technicians are ASE certified and attend at least 70 hours of local and factory training each year,” Ken continued. “We do what it takes to be well prepared in servicing your vehicle.” Then he added, “We are licensed and insured in the state of North Carolina, carrying appropriate garage keepers and workers compensation.”
Manchester Tire and Auto runs the gamut of auto maintenance and repair from an oil change to an engine replacement, and can usually give same day service. They have a convenient shuttle service that will take the customer home and later pick him or her up when the job is completed. They are proud to be recommended on Angie’s list as well.
