Rocky River faces North Meck

GAME WEEK 5

By Andrew Stark

Who: Rocky River (1-3) at North Meck (3-1)

When: 7 pm

Last Meeting: This is the first meeting

Key Players: Rocky River: quarterback Tyshawn Carter, running backs Elijah Henry, Justice Styron and Nygle Farmer, receiver/defensive back Kendall Lewis, receiver Johari Alexander, lineman Bryson Adams, defensive back Tyrell Robinson, linebacker Larry Blanton; North Meck: quarterback Kendall Coles, running back Emmanuel Wilson, receivers De’Montrez Burroughs and Dalon Tucker, linemen Chris Moore, Preston Ellison and Keon Cezar, defensive backs Nyree Hardy and Amaur Mason

The Keys: This is a battle of teams headed in opposite directions. Behind a strong senior class, North Meck is in the midst of its best season in years. Their 3-1 start has been fueled by a strong defense and the play of quarterback Kendall Coles, do-everything receiver/defensive back De’Montrez Burroughs and the emergence of sophomore running back Emmanuel Wilson, who is going to be a special player. Quarterback Tyshawn Carter is a bona fide star, but he’s going to need help if Rocky River is to earn this win. […]
