Two events benefit Historic Bain

Two upcoming events will benefit the Historic Bain Restoration project.

Tickets to the Belk Charity Sale, scheduled for Saturday, November 7, from 6-10 am, are now available for purchase from members of the Historic Bain Restoration Committee and the Clear Creek Militia DAR.

Each $5 ticket provides admission to the private ticketed event, plus $5 off your first purchase at any Belk Store. Ticket holders may save up to 70 percent on items storewide, including rarely discounted brands.  Bain Historic Restoration is one of many charities that will benefit from the sale.

Region 3 of the Daughters of the American Revolution, including the local Clear Creek Militia, will partner with the Historic Bain Restoration at an upcoming fundraiser to benefit Historic Bain.  […]

Penny’s for Bain set for August 8

Penny’s Place in Mint Hill, is the place to be Saturday, August 8. From 11:30 am to 2 pm the well-known restaurant, now in its 79th year, is throwing a fundraiser called “Penny’s for Bain” to benefit the Historic Bain Restoration, on-going project to save the 1924 auditorium building.

Texas Roadhouse of Matthews to hold fundraiser for Bain restoration project

Texas Roadhouse, located at 10450 E. Independence Blvd., Matthews, NC (704-814-0285) will donate a percentage of its food sales on Sunday, November 24, to the Historic Bain Academy Restoration, as well as any donations received that day.

Patrons should present the Texas Roadhouse coupon between 11 am and 10 pm, and the Bain project will receive 10 percent of those sales.  Proceeds from the Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser will go toward restoring Historic Bain, which was established 1889 and has served thousands of students in its 124-year history.
