All four of Mint Hill’s commissioners are up for reelection, and four incumbents have registered to challenge them. The Times contacted each candidate and asked one question: Why do you want to serve as a commissioner? Below are their responses.

“I would like to serve because I desire to preserve Mint Hill as a great place to raise a family. I will work to provide clean, safe and reliable water and sewer service for all residents. I want to help manage the inevitable growth and traffic. I will be a voice for all regardless of party affiliation.
